Jayme Arana
MD, graduated from the Medical School of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in December 1974. He completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at the Evangelical Hospital of Curitiba, PR.
Active participant in BRAVS congresses since 1982.
Head of the Retinal Angiography Service (since 1981), Ocular Ultrasound (since 1984), UBM and OCT (since 2005) at the Hospital de Olhos do Paraná until 2018.
Led the Retinal Angiography and Ocular Ultrasound Service at the UFPR’s Hospital de Clínicas from 1993 to 2010.
Coordinator of the Ophthalmology Residency Program at the Hospital de Olhos do Paraná from 1993 to 2010.
Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the
Evangelical Medical School of Paraná from 1981 to 2019.
Jayme Arana is married to a Pediatric Dentist and has three sons: two ophthalmologists and one lawyer. He has six grandchildren.
